Students email professor with study question, get an unexpectedly kind response

Best. Professor. Ever.

Accounting just got a little easier for two students, thanks to a very generous professor.

When student Marissa Flood and a classmate from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina, were having a bit of a tough time studying for an accounting exam, they emailed their professor for some much needed advice.

But instead of sending a standard email reply, Dr. Doug Schneider made the decision to help his students in person. The professor met them in the university library and took time to guide his students through the challenging material.

Flood captured the touching moment and posted it to Twitter, where it was retweeted more than 6,500 times.

The university even tweeted praise for Schneider's dedication to his students.

This is what a good teacher looks like.
