Tiny puppy rescued from baseball stadium now has important job as 'bat dog'
Bat boys, beware: your jobs may soon be usurped by puppies.
Daisy the dog was rescued two weeks ago from a baseball stadium parking lot. Now, the team that plays there — the appealingly-named Savannah Bananas — has hired her on.

According to a team press release, Daisy hangs out in the office every day to help send out baseball-related swag and say 'hi' to visitors — a role that could expand as she gets bigger.
"We aren’t sure how big she’ll get, so it’s hard to say if she’ll be able to pick up a bat or just coach first base,” said Bananas president Jared Orton, “but as she grows, she’ll be a fixture at the ballpark.”
When she's not hard at work, Daisy will live with Jared Orton and his wife Kelsey.
