It is not a good moment for white nationalist and alt-right personality Richard Spencer.

After Twitter stripped him of the blue verification mark, Spencer is facing a ban from the EU's visa-free Schengen Area which comprises of 26 European countries, according to The Associated Press and Poland's state-run news agency PAP.

The Polish Office for Foreigners have issued a five-year ban at the request of the country's internal security agency and the foreign ministry, these reports say.

Spencer had attempted to visit Poland for the annual Independence Day march in Warsaw, which was attended by 60,000 nationalists. But he gave up after the Polish government said he wasn't welcome in the country, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center.

It is not the first time Spencer gets booted from the Schengen Area.

In 2014 he was arrested in Hungary, where he attempted to host a white nationalist conference, and banned from the Schengen zone for three years.
