The Rolling Stones are rolling all the way down to Cuba.

The legendary rock band will perform a free concert in Havana on March 25, in the arena Ciudad Deportiva de la Habana.

“We have performed in many special places during our long career, but this show in Havana is going to be a landmark event for us, and, we hope, for all our friends in Cuba too," the band says in a statement.

The show has been in the works for "several months," and will also kick off an initiative to donate musical instruments and equipment to artists in Cuba. Donors include the Gibson Foundation, Vic Firth, Pearl, Zildjian, the Latin Grammy Cultural Foundation and more.

The show will wrap up the end of the Stones' Latin America tour, the band's first tour in the region in 10 years.
