Ruby Rose just gave us a fresh peek of Batwoman's TV debut
Ruby Rose has been very vocal about how excited she is to be playing the superhero Batwoman on the CW network in the US.
And after seeing these latest photos, we're pretty excited too.
Rose shared two photos from the upcoming DC crossover show Elseworlds (a TV special featuring all the DC characters currently on TV: Arrow, The Flash and Supergirl) show and it's looking pretty good.
Elseworlds will be the debut for Rose's Batwoman character, and the photos posted prove that she fits right in.
In one of the photos, Batwoman is with co-superhero The Flash, while the other shows her side-by-side with Arrow.
Batwoman, a.k.a. Kate Kane, is the first openly gay superhero on tv, and the show's creators cast Rose, who also identifies as a lesbian, in the part to better inform the character.
Elseworlds will be based on the DC imprint of the same name, which includes stories that are generally considered to be outside of the overall DC continuity, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Regardless, Ruby is exhibiting some serious BBE (Big Bat Energy) in these photos.
