The day when President Donald Trump's personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, was revealed to have Fox News host Sean Hannity as a client was always going to be a good day for late night talk show hosts.

And they went for it.

Jimmy Kimmel, Trevor Noah, and Stephen Colbert went absolutely ham on Hannity on Monday night, unpacking the Cohen connection.

On Monday, Cohen told a federal judge that he had given legal advice to three people in the past year. One was obviously Trump. The second was Republican fundraiser Elliott Broidy, and the third was a person whose identity Cohen refused to disclose until forced — it's Hannity.

The Daily Show's Trevor Noah ran a montage of a "scared" looking Hannity's previous reporting on Cohen, and criticized him for not disclosing his tie.

"Even Instagram models have higher ethical standards," said Noah. "I’m not expecting him to rise to the ethical level of the Kardashians, but come on, Sean."

Following a personal feud with Hannity, Jimmy Kimmel couldn't contain his glee over the revelations about the Fox News host on Monday, calling him "chief propaganda guy for Trump’s legal team — but he never disclosed that he is also represented by a member of that legal team."

Kimmel slammed Hannity's claim that his legal discussions with Cohen never involved a third party. "What kind of legal advice doesn’t involve a third party?" said Kimmel. “Unless maybe Sean Hannity is thinking of suing himself?"

Sipping red wine from a recliner at one point, The Late Show host Stephen Colbert unpacked what he dubbed the "Hannity Insanity."

Colbert really, really enjoyed himself. "Jon Stewart, after the show, I'm gonna come over and we're just gonna spoon," he said. "This is CRAZY."

Kimmel, Colbert and Noah weren't the only ones surveying this news in a high pitched squeal. The internet lost its damn mind over it.
