Sean Spicer can hide in the bushes, but he can't hide from the internet mocking him
Shortly after the news leaked about FBI Director James Comey's firing yesterday, Sean Spicer did what all Press Secretaries do in times of crisis: he hid in the bushes.
Spicer and his staff huddled behind a hedge Tuesday night in order to avoid a swarm of reporters, The Washington Post reported. The Press Secretary finally emerged from the bushes and agreed to speak with journalists on the grounds that everyone turn their "lights off" so he couldn't be filmed (is something wrong with Spicey's pores?)
It was a terrifying moment for democracy and the future of Western Civilization -- buuuut an absolutely delightful one for the internet.
Sean Spicer can run from the press. He can't run from dorks on Twitter making jokes about our White House Press Secretary hiding in bushes.
The next White House press conference will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at an undisclosed underground cave guarded by wolves.
