This list of 'Sharknado 4' cameos is expectedly bonkers
Syfy is celebrating May 4 by revealing the first batch of Sharknado 4 cameos -- and if you were looking forward to some crazy ones, you won't be disappointed.
The franchise that once made Mark Cuban the President of the United States will present some more alt-world insanity, with castings like Dr. Drew Pinsky (who plays a pastor), David Faustino (who plays a gambler), and Stacey Dash (who plays Mayor of Chicago). Poor Chicago.

The network also unveiled the first poster for Sharknado: The 4th Awakens, which mashes up sharks and Star Wars, resulting in a true gift to graphic design.
Sharknado: The 4th Awakens takes place five years after the last film and finds everyone living a blissfully sharknado-free life -- when, dun dun dun, they begin popping up once again in unexpected places.
The movie premieres Sunday, July 31 at 8 p.m.ET.
