'Sharknado 4' books three social media stars for cameos

The fourth installment of the Sharknado movie franchise is looking to awaken the social media followers of three online stars by booking them for cameos in the upcoming film. 

Mashable has learned that Syfy has added YouTuber iJustine, YouTuber and Viner DeStorm Power and Andre "Black Nerd" Meadows to Sharknado: The 4th Awakens' ever-growing cameo list.

The social media stars join an already huge list of guest stars, which includes Dr. Drew Pinsky, David Faustino and Stacey Dash.

The additions also come on a year when Sharknado has pumped up its younger cast -- with the addition of Hannah Montana alum Ryan Newman, for example -- in efforts to attract younger viewers to the campy fun.

Sharknado: The 4th Awakens premieres Sunday, July 31 at 8 p.m. ET.
