Simone Biles is incredibly talented, in case you hadn't heard.

The celebrated Olympian is also now the proud owner of 23 medals at the World Artistic Gymnastic Championships, tying previous record-holder Vitaly Scherbo. She joined the male Belarusian gymnast as a top winner on Saturday, when she scored a gold medal in the vaulting competition at the world championship in Stuttgart, Germany.

You can watch Biles' characteristically excellent performance right now.

You can hear the NBC announcer refer to her talents as "next-level" and her impressive vault "basically unbeatable" just after she plants the landing. The gold is her 17th to date at the annual event (in non-Olympic years), the most out of all the multiple medal-winning female competitors.

The weekend is also not over. Biles could still add to her pile of gold medals (and medals in general) as the rest of the 2019 World championship plays out.

UPDATE! She added to her pile of medals, and has now surpassed Scherbo as the competition's most decorated gymnast.

At just 22 years of age, Biles has fully established herself as a top-tier G.O.A.T. candidate for professional gymnastics. She cemented her stardom as far back as the 2016 Summer Olympics, where she won four gold medals and enjoyed viral popularity as videos of her performances spread across the internet.

After a year-long break in 2017, Biles returned to pro competitions and just kept on being one of the most dominant athletes in the sport. Her name is almost guaranteed to make headlines in 2020, when the Summer Olympics head back to Tokyo for the first time since 1964.

UPDATE: Oct. 13, 2019, 9:59 a.m. EDT Added the news that Biles went on to break Scherbo's record with two more medal wins.
