Kanye's Pablo pop-up in Singapore drew hundreds who queued overnight
SINGAPORE -- You knew that hype would draw a crowd, especially here in Singapore.
Over the weekend, Kanye West opened a pop-up store carrying his Pablo merchandise, and the lines formed accordingly around the block from the wee hours of Friday morning.
The store here at Suntec City opened from noon to 8 p.m. on Friday to Sunday, and queues started forming from around 2 a.m. on Friday morning, The Straits Times reports.

Many posted pictures with the store's Singapore sign in the brand's Gothic font.
Singapore was the only location in Asia out of the 21 pop-ups around the world that opened over the weekend.
The rapper announced on Wednesday last week the locations of the stores.

The Pablo line of clothing is basically merchandise to accompany West's latest album, The Life of Pablo.
Other locations around the world reportedly saw just as much hype around the brand, with hundreds in line in Australia, and U.S. cities like Texas and Chicago.
If you're already familiar with West's Yeezy stuff, you'd know that anything the rapper puts his name to don't come cheap. Many of the items ranged from tees for around $60, to jackets for around $350.
