Warning: This post contains spoilers for Game of Thrones, like many things you may encounter on the Internet.

If you have been losing sleep worried that Sansa Stark may be pregnant with Ramsay Bolton's child, that's totally reasonable. Sansa is a treasure and has already dealt with so much without being stuck with the spawn of her tormenter.

But Sophie Turner, the actress who plays the eldest Stark daughter, is not convinced and thinks Sansa will have forgotten him in no time. "Ramsay was just a tiny blockade in the way of something much bigger," she told the Hollywood Reporter

Fans have taken Ramsay's final words-- "I am part of you now" -- as damning evidence that she's carrying his child, but Turner challenges that reading of the scene.

I think some people have taken it very literally, thinking that she might be pregnant. Personally, I think it's more figurative, especially because months and months have gone on and Sansa really hasn't developed a baby belly. So I think he means he's going to forever be imprinted on her in a way that he's done such a terrible thing to her. He's taken something of hers that's so precious. I think he believes that will always be a part of her, but I think he underestimates just how strong she is, and just how easily she can forget him. Now that she's killed him she can forget him, and she can move on with her life.

So, while Sansa has experienced countless horrors and certainly doesn't have a sunny future ahead of her, take some comfort while we wait for the new season of Game of Thrones knowing that it's totally possible that particular devastating brutal plot twist may never materialize.
