New 'Star Wars' poster gets unexpected reveal ahead of trailer

While you wait for that new Star Wars trailer to drop, Lucasfilm is happy to whet your appetite with a new poster.

Red is clearly the order of the day, as once again, all our heroes and villains are drenched in that bloody shade. Check it out:

Yes yes yes yes yes ... wait. Is it weird that Poe is on the right side of the poster, next to baddies like Kylo Ren, General Hux, Captain Phasma, and BB-9E? All the other light-side characters are on the left, with the exception of Luke and Leia, who are aligned smack dab in the middle.

It's possible, I guess, that they just wanted to make Poe and Finn's heads the same size, and couldn't figure how to do that without upsetting the balance of the Force the poster.

But ... I don't know, guys. Suddenly, "are porgs friends or food" does not seem like the most worrying question facing us in The Last Jedi.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is in theaters December 15.
