The pre-recorded interview was conducted by Anderson Cooper, who didn't shy away from probing questions.

This was it. The moment an entire nation (well, except perhaps one guy) was waiting for, and it did not disappoint.

A pre-recorded interview with Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, aired this evening on 60 Minutes and dived into her alleged affair with Donald Trump — as well as the supposed efforts to keep her quiet.

While Trump has so far publicly denied Daniels' claims, that didn't stop her from providing new details about the decade-old (again, alleged) happenings, and explaining why she went public in the first place.

"I was perfectly fine saying nothing at all," reads a transcript of the interview with Anderson Cooper, "but I'm not okay with being made out to be a liar, or people thinking that I did this for money and people are like, 'Oh, you're an opportunist. You're taking advantage of this.'"

She also recalled an incident where Trump allegedly dropped his pants and she spanked him with a magazine featuring the face of none other than Donald Trump.

"So he turned around and pulled his pants down a little," claimed Daniels, "you know had underwear on and stuff and I just gave him a couple swats."

Trump also allegedly told Daniels that she reminded him of his daughter.

"He was like, 'Wow, you — you are special. You remind me of my daughter.' You know — he was like, 'You're smart and beautiful, and a woman to be reckoned with, and I like you. I like you.'"

Daniels also recounted what she said was an attempt to silence her in 2011.

"I was in a parking lot, going to a fitness class with my infant daughter," Daniels told Cooper. "T— taking, you know, the seats facing backwards in the backseat, diaper bag, you know, gettin' all the stuff out. And a guy walked up on me and said to me, 'Leave Trump alone. Forget the story.' And then he leaned around and looked at my daughter and said, 'That's a beautiful little girl. It'd be a shame if something happened to her mom.' And then he was gone."

When Cooper asked her if she thought that was a direct threat, Daniels replied "absolutely."

Whether or not Trump will respond to this interview is unclear, but we can only imagine his thumbs are hovering above that "tweet" button as you read this.

This story has been updated to include additional information from the interview.
