If you're among those impressed by the performances of the child actors on the breakout Netflix hit Stranger Things, good news: they're just as awesome in real life.

Finn Wolfhard, who plays Mike Wheeler on the series, posted his push-up challenge completion on Instagram earlier this week, knocking out the push-ups in short order.

In similar fashion, co-star Millie Bobby Brown, who plays the powerful character Eleven, also participated. She completed her push-ups on the beach under the added strain of waves crashing into her during the exercise.

Those unfamiliar with the social media-fueled trend may be confused as to why so many celebrities have suddenly gone push-up crazy, but it's all for a good cause.

A non-profit organization called 22Kill, which is devoted to raising awareness around the plight of U.S. military veterans suffering high rates of suicide, is behind the movement. The number 22 is derived from a statistic that claims that an average of 22 veterans die by suicide every day.

Some of the celebs who have already participated in the challenge include Chris Evans, The Rock and Chris Pratt.
