Life is going to be a little Stranger for the next couple of years, thanks to Netflix and the Duffer brothers. The Stranger Things creators told Vulture that their darling miniseries borne of sci-fi and '80s nostalgia will get a third season, and hopefully a fourth, before they envision the end.

“We’re thinking it will be a four-season thing and then out,” Ross Duffer told Vulture.

That's equally good news for fans who want more and those wary of a series losing its charm as it tries to stretch out the story. Plus, those kids are growing up fast.

“We just have to keep adjusting the story,” said brother Matt. “Though I don’t know if we can justify something bad happening to them once a year.”

“They’re going to have to get the fuck out of this town!” Ross added. “It’s ridiculous!”

Season 2 is being kept tightly under wraps, but we do have a few tidbits, including that Eleven will be back and Dustin is getting a strange pet from another world.

“I told Matt, ‘I don’t want to call it season two, I just want it to feel like a movie sequel’," Ross Duffer said in the interview. "If you have a successful movie, No. 2 is always a little bit bigger."

Stranger Things 2 releases on Oct. 27.
