Just in time for the debut of Rick and Morty's third season on July 30, it appears Rick's series arc has been fulfilled: McDonald's Szechuan sauce is coming back.

As revealed in a tweet by series co-creator Justin Roiland and another tweet by McDonalds, the fast food chain has created and bottled limited amounts of the sauce from 1998.

That's it broh. Rick did it broh. He brought the sauce back, the show's over.

Rick's fascination with Szechuan sauce was unveiled in the first episode of Season 3, released on April 1. The unhinged alcoholic/world's smartest man goes on a threatening rant to Morty, all circling back to getting Szechuan sauce.

"That’s my one arm man. I’m not driven by avenging my dead family Morty, that was FAKE! I-I’m driven by finding that, McNugget Sauce. I want that Mulan McNugget Sauce, Morty. That’s my series arc Morty! If it takes 9 seasons, I WANT MY MCNUGGET DIPPING, SAUCE SZECHUAN SAUCE MORTY! THAT’S WHAT'S GONNA TAKE US, ALL THE WAY TO THE END MORTY! SEASON, 9 MORE SEASONS MORTY! 9 MORE SEASONS UNTIL I GET THAT DIPPING SZECHUAN SAUCE!"

After the episode, Rick and Morty fans begged McDonald's to bring the sauce back -- a change.org petition about it received just under 37,000 signatures.

On July 30, Roiland tweeted images of a package from McDonald's, purporting to be from an alternate dimension where it’s always 1998. Included in the package: one 64oz jug of Szechuan sauce.

In the enclosed letter, a "McDonald's chef" wrote, "A few lucky fans will also get to experience the glory, but the first bottle in this dimension is for you."

Later in the morning, McDonald's followed up with a tweet of their own -- a picture of 3 jugs of the sauce.

We're excited to see how Rick and Morty continues forward, now that the title character's primary goal has been achieved.
