Dude's trip to Target looks straight out of a 'Stranger Things' episode

Creepiest parking lot ever.

While we wait for a new season of Stranger Things, one guy got to experience the upside down in real life.

Redditor RazgrizInfinity captured the moment the lights at a Target parking lot began to flicker in a very creepy way. The erratic flashing of the lights didn't alarm anyone at the lot which makes you wonder what kind of Twilight Zone is this guy living in.

People began making references to Stranger Things, Dark, and even Back To The Future. Some even suspected some aliens having something to do with all of the lights.

One user even added club music to the scene. (Though the complete silence of the original makes it seem far more like a horror movie.)

But aside from the many sci-fi references in the comments (because it's Reddit after all), users chimed in with their expert opinion on what's causing the ruckus.

Sure there's probably a perfectly reasonable explanation, but it's far more fun to sit around wondering if the portal to the upside down is yawning open...
