Thomas the Tank Engine is an anthropomorphic train that brings joy to children everywhere.

Until now.

Don't look away. This is the terrifying creature you've been entertaining your children with. (In case you're wondering, it is available in T-shirt form.)

The internet was similarly disturbed.

Some people, however, were just curious about how the Thomas-creature lived.

And yes, there were Hayao Miyazaki references.

Still, anything is better than this version of Thomas the Tank Engine from a couple of years ago.

Sweet dreams, America.
