Last year the Tour de France gave us freaky sunburnt muscular legs. This year it's given us another bizarre viral gift -- an incredibly dangerous bike stunt caught on video.

In this clip recorded by NBCSN Cycling, the peloton can be seen pedaling intently along a hillside. Suddenly, from the right of the frame comes another biker, who appears to be heading straight from the grass into the group.

But instead of crashing into everyone, the biker uses a portion of the hillside to boost himself over the heads of the riders. He even manages to stick the landing on the other side of the road.

As of right now the wild rider is unknown, but thankfully no one was hurt. It isn't necessarily unusual for people to pull a publicity stunt on the Tour, but this one most definitely could've put the lives of bikers (not to mention the camera crews and team cars) at risk had he crashed into the pack.

To reiterate: Don't try this at home, or during the world's most famous bike race.
