So, Trump actually met the 'Pen Pineapple Apple Pen' guy in Japan
Trump hasn't been that much of a philistine during his Japan trip, despite ordering a well-done burger and dumping a whole box of fish food into a koi pond.
After all, he made time to get a photo with Japanese sensation Piko-Taro, who you might know to be behind the viral hit "Pineapple Pen Apple Pen (PPAP)" in 2016.
Piko-Taro, whose real name is Kazuhito Kosaka, met Trump at a dinner alongside Japan's Prime Minister Shinzō Abe on Monday night.
Dressed in his distinct orange faux-leopard skin outfit, Piko-Taro stood out among a mostly formal crowd at the event.

The singer and comedian was reportedly chosen because Abe wanted the dinner to be an "upbeat" affair, and Piko-Taro posted numerous photos of the event online.
"It is an honor!" Piko-Taro wrote on Facebook. You can't keep a guy like him down.
