People tweeted more about 'The Walking Dead' than 'Empire' last TV season
With the 2015-16 TV season now complete and 2016-17 right ahead of us, Nielsen has unveiled some Twitter stats that point to a shift in last season's social media chatter.
According to Nielsen, The Walking Dead was the most tweeted about show last season, with an average of 435,000 tweets sent per episode, a stat that helped keep the show's main tweet competition, Empire, out of the top spot.
Empire, however, was the most talked-about fall premiere, with 1.3 million Tweets sent in the U.S. about the Sept. 2015 episode.
