Sometimes you don't need to tweet a funny photo or video to go viral -- all you need is a simple thought that everyone can get on board with.

This was exactly what happened with Kyle Brownlee over the weekend, when his simple (and undeniably correct) observation about unicorns was retweeted over 125,000 times.

Good. Point.

Just look at the two creatures side-by-side:

Admit it: That giraffe looks just as striking as the unicorn.

In case you were wondering, both female and male giraffes have ossicones, according to the Giraffe Conservation Foundation. When males fight each other -- something known as "necking contests" -- these nubs of cartilage allow them to hit harder.

Eventually, other strange members of the animal kingdom were brought into the discussion.

Finally, there was this.

So there you have it. The next time someone tells you unicorns and dragons are absurd, just show them a picture of a giraffe.
