There's a weight limit of about 2,500 pounds on most elevators, and typically that isn't something you have to think about.

Of course, when you're a group of eight linemen on a Division 1 college football team, it can become an issue. This is the lesson learned by eight college athletes from USC, who became stuck on an elevator after exceeding its weight capacity by about 700 pounds.

Upon becoming stuck on the elevator, Banner immediately took to Twitter to post hilarious and dramatic updates about the group's status.

The mood in the elevator got worse.

Then, it reached a tipping point.

The group turned to music in their trying time.

Finally, an hour after getting stuck, the group made it out.
