That 'waterboarding kit' Dick Cheney signed on Sacha Baron Cohen's show? Looks like it's on eBay.

In one of the most WTF moments from Sacha Baron Cohen's second episode of Who Is America?, former vice president Dick Cheney signed what was referred to as a "waterboarding kit."

And now, it looks like it's sitting on eBay.

Listed as the "original water board kit" signed by Cheney, the product is currently sitting at a bid of $1,700 — with 50 bids in total at the time of writing.

Who Is America? officially premiered last week on Showtime in the U.S. and on streaming service Stan in Australia. As Sarah Palin found out the hard way, Cohen has been filming interviews with U.S. politicians and lobbyists for a year in disguise, creating a host of new characters for the show.

According to the listing, the kit is said to be sold by Cohen's "Israeli anti-terrorism expert" character Erran Morrad — he appeared in episode 1 in an alarming interview with director of Gun Owners of America Larry Pratt. He's also the character who got a bunch of GOP congressmen to say arming toddlers is a good idea.

Cheney's interview, in which Morrad asks him to sign an empty gallon jug described as a "waterboarding kit," appears in the show's second episode, which airs on Showtime at 10 p.m. ET on Sunday (Australians can watch it via streaming service Stan on Monday). You can see the offending moment in this teaser:

In its skint profile, the seller is only listed as ermo43, based in the United States and has been an eBay member since July 19, 2018.

Whether or not this is actually Cohen's work remains to be seen. Mashable has reached out to Showtime and Stan for comment.

Nonetheless, there are several images of a water jug sporting what appears to be Cheney's signature, and the listing reads like a disturbing skit straight from the show:

"Here is a rare opportunity to own a WATER BOARD BOTTLE SIGNED BY the Godfather of the sport - American war hero and all-round mensch, VICE-PRESIDENT DICK CHENEY," it reads, apparently written by Morrad.

"Unlike the cheap domestic water board kits you can buy on Amazon, this is a professional grade piece of military hardware. Fully functioning, it have seen many hours active use by me, both on the frontline of the War on Terror and also in my own home, where it has proved very effective at keeping my son, Eyal, in line. Indeed, if you too live in a bungalow, water boarding is a great alternative to the “naughty step”.

The bottle is listed as made from Military Grade High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), "meaning that as well as Water Boarding, it can also be used to Dr. Pepper Board, Clorox Board or even Urine Board potential terrorists or annoying neighbors."

Plus, the listing says it comes with:

  • Money back guarantee - if this does not prevent your next major terrorist attack, return to us for full refund

  • One (1) custom-cast deep-fluid-dispensing information-retrieval kit

  • One (1) complimentary gallon of water for initial use

  • Zero (0) scruples

All proceeds from the "fully operational torture, I mean interrogation device," will apparently go to Amnesty International, according to the copy.

The auction will end on Wednesday. Importantly, who the hell is bidding for this, joke or not?
