The next Prime Day is officially less than a month away
UPDATE: Sep. 17, 2023, 1:00 a.m. EDT We've updated this post with the latest information about when Amazon's second Prime Day sale will kick off.
Leave it to Amazon to bring us not just one, but two massive Prime Day sales in one year.
Following the precedent set by last year's inaugural Prime Early Access Sale (aka the first unofficial Prime Day 2) Amazon is holding yet another massive sales event early this fall: Prime Big Deal Days will be from Tuesday, Oct. 10 to Wednesday, Oct. 11.
If you're wondering why they've also decided to slap yet another random name on the sale instead of calling it the second 48-hour Prime Day(s) that it is, your guess is as good as ours.

What to expect from Prime Big Deal Days
What we don't have to guess on though, is that this sale will be chock-full of early Black Friday-type deals to ring in the holiday season. Some top-sellers from July's Prime Day were Kindles, Fire Sticks, and AirPods, so we expect to see more of the same deals crop up.
Hopefully you still have some leftover cash from July's Amazon extravaganza (which was the retailer's biggest Prime Day ever), because we're thinking Prime Day (the October version) is going to be just as good, if not better.
Over the summer, retailers like Walmart, Target, and Best Buy once again had their own sales to rival Prime Day. Will they follow suit next month, or wait for the Black Friday fervor to pick up? We don't know quite yet, but we wouldn't be surprised. Whatever happens, be sure to follow Mashable's expert shopping coverage to keep up to date with all things Prime Day and beyond.
