All eight seasons of 'Will & Grace' are about to stream on demand for the first time ever
Will & Grace fans, let's get ready to binge-watch!
Just in time to pre-game the show's upcoming revival, all 194 episodes of the iconic sitcom will be at your fingertips — as long as you have Hulu or the NBC app on mobile and NBC.com, that is.
According to a press release, this is the first time in history the original eight seasons of Will & Grace will be available through streaming or on demand via satellite, cable, and other pay TV providers.
Starting Thursday Sept. 21— one week before the show makes its return to NBC with new episodes — you can put those DVD box sets you once spent an embarrassing amount of money on away and welcome Will, Grace, Karen, and Jack to the glorious age of streaming services.
"As we gear up for the launch of the upcoming season premiere, I can’t think of a better way to reintroduce Will & Grace to the cultural zeitgeist than by giving audiences the opportunity to watch this historic and hilarious series wherever and whenever they want," NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt said.
"With its witty comebacks, pop-culture references and social commentary, Will & Grace is one of the most binge-able comedies in television history, and I am certain fans both old and new will jump on this opportunity to devour it."
Back in the day the show received an impressive 83 Emmy Awards nominations, so yeah, it's kind of a big deal.
The Will & Grace revival series is set to premiere on Sept. 28. It consists of 16 episodes, and has already been picked up for a second season of 13 more.
