The most relatable shoe in New York.

You might be under the impression that label makers are boring, but if you put your mind to it labels can be fun, informative, and fashionable.

Not convinced? One brave New Yorker will change your mind.

On Wednesday, Twitter user @KatraHigher shared two photos of some shoes she saw while walking in New York City. At first glance they seem like ordinary flats, but if you take a closer look you'll find the left shoe is a bit damaged and displays a beautiful label.

The zoomed-in shot shows the back of the shoe, which has what look like bite marks, and an attached label that appears to read: "my dog chewed it."

Stunning. Brilliant. Relatable as hell.

"This woman was walking around NYC with this label on her shoe and now she's my wife," @KatraHigher tweeted, alongside the photos. Understandable.

Fellow Twitter users and understanding dog owners were quick to celebrate this woman's hilariously honest fashion statement, calling the shoe "the best use of a label maker" and imagining other great label uses.

So, pet owners, stop throwing away your chewed up shoes and getting angry at your pups. Simply invest in a label maker and own your fashion imperfections.
