Woman with cancer finally finds the perfect home for her 3 beloved dogs
A dying woman's wish -- to find the perfect new family for her three dogs -- has finally come true.
Kathleen Zuidema's Facebook post seeking a home for the "Aussie Posse" swept the Internet last month, prompting kind comments, thousands of shares and even erroneous reports that a home had already been found.
Those reports worried Zuidema, who has been fighting cancer for a year and a half. What if no more prospects came forward? But now, she's breathing a sigh a relief.

Danielle Cochran, who lives on the same Washington State island as Zuidema, came across Zuidema's request on Facebook. She talked with Zuidema's husband about potentially adopting the Aussie Posse, but that plan was quickly halted when she saw a false report stating that the dogs had already found a home.
Thankfully, someone set Cochran straight, and she marched over the Zuidema's house to meet the pups in person.
It was a perfect match.
Now comes the planning stage. The younger Aussie Posse members will head to Cochran's house soon, but the oldest dog will stay with Zuidema until she is no longer able to care for her.
Donations from the community are also flooding in. They'll help the Cochrans build a new, dog-friendly fence.
Best of all, Zuidema can now rest easy knowing her dogs are secure.
"I got everything I wanted," she told Fox Q13. "Except for the dying part."
