Men didn't like being excluded from Alamo Drafthouse's women-only screening for the upcoming superhero film Wonder Woman.

So naturally the film house went ahead and added more screenings -- pointedly sans men. And they announced the new showings with a killer GIF and spot-on tweet.

Men had been quick to voice their complaints after the Austin theater posted this week about the women-only event that quickly sold out, along with a second screening.

Keep in mind, Alamo Drafthouse is offering plenty of their usual screenings at theaters across the country -- that means mixed-gender audiences, so men will have plenty of opportunities to see the film.

As the perfect response to the male outrage, the Brooklyn theater has three more showings for only woman-identifying ticketholders after the movie comes out Thursday (but they all sold out already). Proceeds from the female-only screenings will go to Planned Parenthood, fittingly.

Alamo Drafthouse had said more locations are planning on adding women-filled screenings, as well. So keep an eye out.

Wonder Woman to the rescue.
