LONDON -- If ever you needed proof that the world is a truly wicked, despicable place, just cast your eyes over the map below.

From the American community of New Erection in Virginia to the tiny hamlet of Shitterton in the south of the UK, our planet is awash with delightfully rude place names.

The Magnificently Rude Map of World Place Names, made by mapmakers Strumpshaw, Tincleton & Giggleswick (there's rudeness in that name, somehow) aims to group all of these together in one place.
