Founder of WorldStar Hip Hop Lee "Q" O'Denat passed away in his sleep Monday night at the age of 43, according to TMZ.

WorldStar was founded in 2005 primarily as a space to host mixtapes, but quickly developed into an explosive hub of viral videos — ultimately shaping internet culture and launching countless artists into the mainstream, including Mick Jenkins, Gucci Mane and Wiz Khalifa.

Many fans took to Twitter on Tuesday to share their thoughts on the passing of the hip-hop media legend.

Rest in peace, Q.
