Some would say 23 is too young to write a memoir, but they haven't lived Zayn Malik's life. Who among us can fathom the memories of One Direction's most mysterious member, of the tormented boy band prodigy who just wanted to have some pillow talk? With Malik working on an autobiography, we'll soon know.

Penguin Random House will publish Malik's eclectic autobiography – entitled Zayn – which won't contain memoir-esque essays but instead "a collection of thoughts, inspirations, personal stories, notes and drawings, and never-before-seen personal photographs."

The past year of Malik's life has been particularly eventful, from breaking up with One Direction (and rumors of a breakup with Gigi Hadad) to his solo album and concert tour. Malik, the most aloof of his former bandmates, has been candid about his disinterest in One Direction and the fact that he knows about sex. Zayn will further expand upon Malik's thoughts on fame and success.

“I’m going to show you as much as I can so that you can judge me on my own terms, not on what the press or anyone else says,” Malik says in the introduction, according to a press release from Penguin.

But what about the real questions? Was it fans' incessant shipping that drove Malik from his illustrious boy band career? Why wasn't Zayn titled Book of Mine? Does Zayn subscribe to Tidal? Will the drawings be self-portraits with different hair colors? (If not, that idea is free).

Just in time for the holidays, Zayn will be on bookshelves Nov. 1.
