Happy (almost) winter, everyone.

Well, maybe not everyone, but we all know one of those people who craves the rush of chilly adventures instead hibernating until spring. But, no matter how tough these outdoor lovers say they are, that cold air seriously stings — especially after the sun goes down. Luckily, a team known for their heated jackets has amped up their line with a hardcore, all-terrain heated jacket on Kickstarter: say hello to Ravean's Rugged.

Ravean not only kept in mind nippy walks to work or class, but considered more intense outdoor activities. Composed of a water- and wind-resistant shell, Rugged is said to protect you from pretty much any weather (those winter winds can seriously be harsh).

Along with heated chest and back panels, Rugged also has heated thumb-hole cuffs to keep fingers warm for intricate work without gloves getting in the way. The neat part about Rugged's heat is that it's customizable: with an easily accessible controller right on the chest, Rugged offers on-demand heat where and when you need it.

Another unique feature? Rugged is compatible with major power tool batteries like DeWalt and Bosch, so you can seriously get sh*t done. There's also a mobile device charger and flashing LED lights to keep you safe and connected, even in the dark.

Check out Rugged's Kickstarter video:

Deliveries start in September 2018, making planning ahead for next holiday season super simple. Back the campaign and get the early bird prices here.
