Gardening can be difficult for those of us without green thumbs, especially when it comes to watering. Most of us can never tell how much water is too much or too little until it's too late. Fortunately, GardenSpace is a project on Kickstarter that seeks to make the gardening grumpies go away.

This solar-powered camera alone could be your new all-purpose botanist. Just connect it to your water supply and wifi, and it can get started. It rotates on 360 degrees for a full view of your garden 24/7. You can use the app to tell the camera what you're growing and it will water accordingly.

When GardenSpace knows what you've planted, it'll know exactly how much water each crop needs so that it takes the guesswork and even the physical work out of watering yourself. The app will also update you on the progress of your plants and how its growing conditions have changed.

Check out the Kickstarter video below:

The camera is also a humane pest deterrent. If it detects something that could pose a threat to your crops, it sprays them with water to scare them off.
