If you think you're all set for Halloween because you bought your Harry Potter costume online, then you are sorely mistaken. You may be forgetting one crucial thing: the accessories.

From wands to (fake) weapons and just about everything in between, it's the accessories that really sell a costume, whether it's for Halloween or comic con. Here are some of our picks:

Wonder Woman Sound Effect Sword

Diana of Themyscira will be a costume that you'll see a lot this year after her badass cinematic debut this past summer (Batman v Superman notwithstanding). If you want to make a statement among the crowd, then you can also wield her sword, the God Killer. This replica is made from foam and makes motion-sensitive sounds when you swing at the air or make it hit something. (We said something, not someone.) It's perfect for roleplaying as Wonder Woman in any setting, and it's pretty easy to hide behind your dress.

Harley Quinn Mallet

If Harley Quinn is more your speed than Wonder Woman, then this mallet will make the perfect statement. Modeled after the weapon in Suicide Squad, mallet head is actually soft. It's the perfect addition for dressing up as last year's most popular Halloween clown — as opposed to this year's clown, that is.

Firebolt Broom from Harry Potter

If you found a nice cheap Harry Potter costume online, then you can do way better than a plastic wand as an accessory. The wizarding world's most popular broom can now be yours in all of its life-sized glory. It's a really cool replica, but we wouldn't suggest trying to chase down any golden snitches just yet.

Mega Man Buster Replica

If you're dressed as the Blue Bomber this year, then you'll definitely want to arm yourself with his Buster. This ThinkGeek exclusive fits right over your arm. You can pull the trigger's inside for awesome lights and sounds for a more authentic busting experience. You can also check out the Proto Man version if red is more your speed.

Assassin's Creed: Origins Hidden Blade

Fans of the Assassin's Creed games will certainly want to sport this under their sleeves. Much like the in-game weapon, this replica extends its blade at the flick of a switch. The blade is made of plastic, so there's no need to worry about stabbing anyone. Just be careful not to poke any eyes out.
