Safety first, they say. Which is why Amazon's taking $60 off the Ring Spotlight Security Camera for Prime Day.

A good security camera has to be reliable, effective, and ideally, convenient — all qualities in which the Ring shines.

The motion-censored security camera allows you to view what's going on at your home at all times, straight from your phone or computer using the free Ring App. You can create and customize your own motion zones so you can focus in on whatever areas you want, and its infrared night vision and spotlights will give you clear video day or night, regardless of whether or not the lights are on.

It also comes with a 110-decibel built-in siren, so if you happen to see someone suspicious hanging around just activate the siren from you phone or by voice command to scare them away.

Oh and yes, we did say voice command. Ring is also compatible with Alexa devices, so you can have Alexa do your security tasks for you.

The camera comes with a 30-day trial of video Ring recording, so you can review, save, or share videos whenever and with whoever you want. The Ring's set-up is super simple and it comes with everything you'll need to install it within minutes.

It's never the wrong time to make safety a priority, but it's definitely the best time when you can score a deal like this.
