Save $11.81: Grab the TP-Link Kasa Smart Bulb KL130 for just $10.18, down from $21.99, as of Sept. 27 — that's a 53% discount.

The days are getting shorter and shorter, so we're relying more and more on our household lighting to set the vibes in the late afternoon and evening. If you're dreading turning on your light because of its weird blue cast or are simply craving some customizability, a smart bulb might be just the thing for you.

As of Sept. 27, you can grab the TP-Link Kasa Smart Bulb KL130 is on sale for just $10.18 at Amazon. (It's $10 off and there's a sneaky coupon you can use to save an extra 15%.)

Unlike many other smart bulbs, you can use all of Kasa's features without a hub (a plus we've raved about before with this brand). That means with just a smartphone, the Kasa app, and a WiFi connection, you can adjust the many color settings, set schedules, personalize lighting patterns, and control your lights from anywhere.

Connecting this bulb won't work seamlessly for everyone — you do need a 2.4Ghz WiFi connection in order to set it up, even if you have a smart hub. However, once you are set up, it's intuitive to use. And if you do have a smart hub, you can unlock even more features of this bulb, including voice commands.

There's a ton of smart lighting out there, and it can get pretty expensive pretty quick, so if you're looking for a way to light up your space without breaking the bank, the Kasa Smart Bulb is definitely worth a second look.
