@ameliadimz / Creator and host of 'Chicken Shop Date'
Amelia Dimoldenberg has perfected the art of deadpan flirting and made it a career. The 31-year-old British journalist and comedian is best known for Chicken Shop Date, her viral interview series where she awkwardly chats with celebrities over fried chicken in London fast food joints. The show, which has accumulated more than 600 million views on YouTube, began as a cult project in 2014 but exploded globally in recent years, thanks to Dimoldenberg's hilariously dry delivery and unmatched ability to disarm her guests. Whether she’s teasing Andrew Garfield or sparring with Central Cee, she turns cringe into charisma, making her one of the most distinct comedic voices of the moment. Her red carpet interviews — marked by the same signature awkward charm — have also become viral staples, as have her brand collabs with major fashion houses and tech companies like Bumble. She’s since parlayed her success into TV hosting and acting roles, all while staying true to her ironic internet roots. Where others aim for effortless charm, Dimoldenberg leans into the cringe and makes it look cool.

If you're not watching The Bodashians on TikTok, "there's something to be said" for that. With a total of 3 million followers on social media under the Britney Spears-inspired handle @bomanizer, Boman Martinez-Reid is one of the new power players in entertainment, blurring digital and traditional media, and going viral more times than reality TV includes unnecessary pauses. From 2020's "cough heard round the world" video and his Kardashian-inspired TikTok series made with his best friend Eden Graham, Martinez-Reid has taken his love and knowledge of reality TV and truly run with it. "Finally, the entertainment industry is meeting people where they are at and respecting what people are watching," Martinez-Reid told Mashable in May 2025. The 27-year-old actor and content creator successfully jumped from YouTube to Instagram to TikTok, then signed a deal to make his own Crave TV show, Made For TV, released a pop song, and guest-starred in A24's Overcompensating. It's only the beginning, people.

Co-creator and host of 'Hot Ones'
Making a career from eating chicken may sound like a near-impossible task, but it’s worked wonders for two of the creators on this list. Sean Evans, host of YouTube channel First We Feast’s interview show "Hot Ones", has been a viral internet staple since the show’s launch in 2015. "Hot Ones" involves Evans and a celebrity guest eating a series of increasingly spicy wings, and while the uniqueness of the format plays a big part in its success – many of the top episodes have tens of millions of views – Evans’ well-researched questions and friendly interviewing style are just as key an ingredient. With BuzzFeed selling First We Feast to a group of investors that included Evans in 2024, the host is now part-owner of the show — and he’s indicated in recent interviews that he has no plans to stop any time soon.

Since joining Saturday Night Live in 2018, the Baltimore-born Egobunma "Ego" Nwodim has emerged as one of TV's most versatile and beloved comedians. After a successful seven-year run, she departed the SNL cast in 2025, having cemented her place in sketch comedy history. At 37, she's coming off back-to-back NAACP Image Award nominations (2024 and 2025) for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy.
Nwodim's razor-sharp impersonations and popular skits — from Dionne Warwick to her viral “Lisa from Temecula” on SNL (8.5 million views on YouTube alone) — have made her a standout in comedy circles. She's amassed a following on her own socials as well; her Instagram @eggyboom has 394,000 followers.
And Nwodim isn't just a performer. She’s the creator and host of her new podcast Thanks Dad, where she invites celebrity guests — Bill Burr, Wayne Brady, Bobby Moynihan — to be her “Dad for the Day,” pairing laughter with life lessons.
Earlier this year, Nwodim went viral again with a hilarious call-and-response bit in which the SNL crowd yelled "s***." Also, in 2025, Nwodim played co-host during this year's Met Gala event, which celebrated the fashion culture of Black Dandyism. Simultaneously, she's given back to her community by leading improv workshops for Baltimore youth.
