Canine and human officers at the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said a fond farewell to one of their own this week.
K9 Nicky was fatally shot on March 31 while attempting to apprehend a murder suspect -- just two months after he miraculously survived a stabbing.
Footage of Nicky's funeral services, which was posted to Facebook on Wednesday, shows his fellow K9s performing a beautiful 21-bark salute for their fallen comrade.
RIP, Nicky.
