In Babylons kooky trailer, Damien Chazelle reimagines 1920s Hollywood as a place where quite literally anything goes. (And yes, whatever you’re thinking, that too.)

In the unbridled drama starring Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, and Diego Calva, big dreams meet big egos, colliding in an intense and action-filled affair. Desperation reeks through the screen, as the early cinema's aspiring stars reach heights never before seen — but nowhere to go but rock bottom.

With nothing to lose and everything to gain, shoot-outs, underground taverns, and alligator wrangling become the status quo in this escapade-packed depiction of this heady time in Hollywood.

The flashy film also stars Jean Smart, Jovan Adepo, Li Jun Li, and Tobey McGuire.

Babylon opens only in theaters Dec. 23.
