You already know it's Valentine's Day and, if you're lucky, you got to spend it with your true love. But you might not realize that it's also the birthday of one very special woman, er, replicant – Pris, from Blade Runner!

In the 1982 film, each replicant (or android) had an "incept" or birth date (see trailer above). In the case of Pris, played by Daryl Hannah, that incept date was February 14th, 2016.
Each replicant only had a few years to live, so those dates were important in the film. But even more important is the fact that we have finally reached Pris' incept date and we still don't have flying cars or realistic female ninja robots.
Get on that, Silicon Valley!
