Yikes. It looks like these newlyweds are off to a bumpy start.

A video capturing a bride riding pillion on her hubby's electric scooter has made its way onto the internet, but for the wrong reasons.

What started out as just a normal ride for two turned into a nightmare for one, when the scooter hit a speed bump and the bride was knocked off the two-wheeler.

As she didn't seemed to be holding onto her husband, she took quite a nasty tumble onto the road. Without knowing that he was now riding solo, the groom unintentionally left his bride behind.

Thankfully, the bride was helped up by pedestrians and motorcyclists that stopped immediately after witnessing the incident.

No word on whether the runaway groom came back for his bride. We're hoping she isn't badly hurt either.
