That part in the movie when the dog starts howling at the evil that just walked into the room? Turns out it's real, even when the dog senses that even on TV.

At least that's what it looks like in this new video featuring Khaleesi the bulldog intensely watching and then trying to warn the protagonist (actor Joey King) in the 2013 horror film The Conjuring.

Pay close attention. It might look like Khaleesi is just randomly barking, that is, until you pay attention to what's actually happening on the screen. This dog knows evil! The furrowed doggo brow. The momentary leap to all fours in empathy with the girl on the screen. Yes, the appropriately named Khaleesi is final proof that, if you want to ward off evil, get a good dog, one might just save your life.
