Nature offers up plenty of oddities, but it's not often that you get to catch them doing strangely cool stuff in plain sight. Take this giant caterpillar train.

Look at them go! Be mesmerised by these creepy crawly caterpillars following each other in perfect formation, in Australia's Perth. The timelapse video was captured by Stargazer Pictures last week.

The caterpillars are likely very hungry. We presume they're going on an adventure together to feed themselves, and possibly also 'cause they're showing off.
