Chance The Rapper didn't want to take a chance on things going "sideways."

The Chicago rapper launched a livestream on Instagram during a police traffic stop on Sunday. He was in the passenger seat when the car was pulled over, expressing to his fans, "Just want y'all to be here in case it gets out of hand."

Both his child and her mother were also in the vehicle. He continued to speak to his 6 million followers, stating he has "faith in humanity and the men and women that put on the badge," but wanted to document the scenario just in case.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Illinois State Police confirmed the car was stopped for a moving violation and was issued a warning.

We're glad to see Chance and his family are OK, but its sad to see that in 2017 we have to resort to social media for any evidence of bad/good policing.
