Stephen Colbert didn't hide his exasperation at the FBI report on Brett Kavanaugh on The Late Show Thursday night.
Colbert hit out at the lack of investigation into Kavanaugh's alcohol consumption, which has come under the microscope despite Kavanaugh saying he has never drunk to the point of forgetting.
"That's like investigating an arson and saying, 'we're not really looking into the fire part, we're more wondering how this building disappeared over here,'" Colbert quipped.
After highlighting the Kavanaugh controversy was unlikely to change the votes for his Supreme Court nomination, Colbert hit out at the FBI reportedly only interviewing nine people, despite more than 40 people claiming they had information on Kavanaugh.
"I've had more thorough investigations to find my AirPods," Colbert said.
