Donald Trump has been making negative comments about the various late night hosts for a long time now, but he seems to have a particular grudge against Jimmy Kimmel — something the late night host's guest David Letterman raised on Tuesday night's Jimmy Kimmel Live! show.
"People are aware of the fact that you are the leader of the resistance?" asks Letterman in the video above, before lending his support to Kimmel.
"Speaking of leaders, let me just say one thing here. I'm going to suck up to you, because I feel like if I kind of tag along with you I'll be glorified in retrospect. Now this is irrespective of party or political ideology. If the leader of the free world is a fool, the leader of the free world then should expect and examine every bit of ridicule he receives."
Elsewhere, Amber Ruffin also stuck up for Seth Meyers over the comments Trump has made about the Late Night host.
