The first trailer for Detective Pikachu dropped on Monday, teasing the mystery movie that's based off the video game of the same name.
It stars Justice Smith as Tim Goodman, whose father is missing, and Ryan Reynolds as the voice of the crime-solving titular Pikachu, who only Tim can understand.
Detective Pikachu is the first live-action Pokémon movie ever, giving us our first look at what real life would be like with these sassy pocket monsters, fulfilling childhood fantasies from around the world.
