Amy Adams returns to our screens as sweet fairy tale character Giselle in Disney's Disenchanted, but it appears that her new life is no dream come true.

It's been over 10 years since the events of Enchanted. Giselle and attorney Robert (Patrick Dempsey) are happily married, but Giselle misses her animated magical kingdom of Andalasia. She and Robert move their growing family from New York City to the suburban community of Monroeville in the hopes of finding a more "fairy tale" life. Unfortunately they're faced with dreary reality and mean neighbors like Malvina Monroe (Maya Rudolph).

So what's a disenchanted girl to do? Why, use magic of course! Giselle wishes to regain her fairy tale life, but the spell doesn't go quite the way she thought it would. Now Giselle is the evil stepmother, giving Adams a chance to go full villain mode. It's a treat to watch the oh-so-sweet Giselle go to the dark side in the trailer, as well as witness the return of Enchanted cast members like Dempsey, James Marsden, and Idina Menzel.

Disenchanted is streaming Nov. 18 on Disney+.
